Information Drive of Proper Waste Disposal by posting of slogans around the School Campus
Rationale:
Presently the world is anguish from different calamities, hunger, malnutrition, sickness and other improper waste disposal. However, several are implementing the proper waste disposal management under RA. 9003 such DENR promoting some activities that will help to save the mother earth help not one but all of us to achieve the better life. Despite of those calamities some are not really concern regarding this matter. They are those who put their waste materials any where.
The Supreme Pupil Government has initiated a program about awareness of proper disposal of garbage. The Officers were decided to introduce a new slogan every year. Usually, a catchy slogan for school is theme based slogan and is employed with an image or a logo. They post slogans around the vicinity of the school regarding garbage disposal to remind them not to throw their garbage anywhere around the school. The Officers of SPG gather students in school to renew their pledges and commitment in the fight for climate change, accountability and social change. Vacation is over, expect renewed and reinvigorated strength for youth power. The posting of slogans was conducted July 16, 2010 at 3:30 in the afternoon.
General Objective:
To offer recommendations which build or strengthen the capacity of aspiring and practicing young leaders to lead the Supreme Pupil Government.
Specific Objectives:
- To reduce the garbage around the school.
- To make our used materials such as cans, plastics etc., to a newly form and more useful products.
- To prevent overflows of the canals and floods in the school.

NARRATIVE REPORT ON W.A.T.C.H. Program
During the Orientation
The G. L. Dondoy Central Elem. School through DepEd Memo. No 160 and 387, s. 2008 created another innovation landmark in promoting time consciousness and honesty.
The faculty had conducted an orientation regarding training and different activities to all teachers, students, PTA officers, Brgy. Councils and to the community.
Last January 14, 2011 W.A.T.C.H. program was launched and orientation given to the student from Grades I to VI. The WATCH officers of students presented dramatization, poster making and poem making regarding the WATCH program. The orientation for students was very successful despite of the heavy rains and this was discussed by our School Guidance Coordinator Mrs. Elyn Del Rosario.
On January 17, 2011, another orientation was conducted to all teachers in our school. All teachers attended the orientation. Our principal was the speaker on that occasion. After the orientation, our principal recognized the teachers who went to school so early from June to present.
January 18, 2011 an orientation was held and was attended by the PTA officials as per headed by Mr. Jessie Decasa.
January 20, 2011, the resource speakers namely Mrs. Elyn Del Rosario, the School Guidance Coordinator, Mrs. Maria Linda Demetillo the School Values Coordinator, Miss Analyn Aquino the School WATCH Chairperson attended the session of Brgy. Councils of Cagangohan to give information regarding the program WATCH. The barangay council happily accepted the challenge of being watchful on honesty and punctuality. They were thankful that WATCH program was disseminated to them.
The WATCH officers of the students function their work. Every morning the WATCH officers of the students and the SPG officers roamed around in the school campus to see to it that no one escape during the flag ceremony and flag retreat. The late comers were gathered in the mini-gym for some reminder from the school disciplinarian Mr. Benjamin Salahid. The officers of WATCH and SPG observed that the late comers were minimized because of the program We Advocate Time Consciousness and Awareness “W.A.T.C.H”.
Advocacy Program
One of the Advocacy of the WATCH was implemented by the officers of WATCH.
The program aim to develop self discipline of the time and consciousness and synchronization of each schedule and the value of honesty.
Oplan ORASAN which is the acronym of of Oras, Respetuhin, Alagaan, Seryosohin, Natin. This program was introduced by the WATCH officers of teachers and students. Each classroom must have a wall clock in
order to be conscious of time in teaching and following religiously the scheduled per subject because time is important and valuable and once it is lost it will never be back. This program emphasizes the saying the “TIME IS GOLD” and every tick of the clock counts.
Another advocacy of WATCH initiated was LAKBAY – BAHAY. The objective of the program was to disseminate the information regarding the WATCH program. The officers and members decided to visit some Puroks in the barangay for the awareness of the people in the community.
WATCH Club Activities
The Watch Club officers initiated an activities such as program and contest like poster making, poem making , information drive campaign every classrooms as per headed by Terenz Avergonzado, WATCH Officer
Recognitions and Awards
Every teacher gives recognition and certification to students advocating the WATCH Program. This enhance everyone to be consciousness and honest to their work, functions as leader (Teacher and Students). Teachers were also recognize during our staff meeting every Monday afternoon .
Certification and recognition happened in the classroom and for the teachers were given during our Monday Meetingat 3:30 in the afternoon.
